The short version. We collect what you type into our enquiry form and the drawings you attach, and we use them only to quote and build your tooling. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not share your drawings with anyone outside JMC Engineering. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing info@jmcengg.com.

3. What we do not do

4. Your drawings and confidentiality

We treat every drawing you send as commercially confidential. Access is limited to the JMC Engineering staff who need it to quote or manufacture your tooling. We do not pass drawings to other customers, and where we use an outside vendor for an operation we cannot perform in-house, we share only the minimum needed for that operation.

If your organisation requires a signed non-disclosure agreement before you send drawings, email us and we will sign yours before you upload anything.

5. Third parties who process data for us

Please read this if you are sending a sensitive drawing. Our enquiry form is currently delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service outside India. Your attachment passes through their systems on the way to our inbox. We are in the process of replacing this with our own hosted form so that nothing leaves our control. Until that is done, if your drawing is covered by an NDA or you would rather it did not pass through a third party, please email it directly to info@jmcengg.com or send it on WhatsApp instead of using the form.

9. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server access logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and reliability. Google Fonts receives a request from your browser when the page loads so it can serve the typefaces.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data — for example when we move the enquiry form off FormSubmit — we will update this page and change the date at the top.

A note on this document. This policy was drafted to describe accurately what this website actually does. It is not legal advice. Before you rely on it for DPDP Act compliance, please have your chartered accountant or advocate review it — particularly the retention periods in section 6, which should match your own record-keeping practice.
